About the event

The City of Quinte West is proud to host the 2024 Toyota National Championships U-15 Cup, part of the largest amateur team sport competition in Canada. 

The Toyota National Championships in Quinte West will welcome national under-15 youth male and female teams from each of Canada’s provincial and territorial soccer associations including 22 teams, 480 athletes, 72 coaches, 20 officials, many athlete families, friends, local residents and visitors.

The tournament will officially kick off with opening ceremonies on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 11:30 a.m. on field 2. 

The public is welcome to attend.

The Quinte West Pop-ups in Centennial Park will be home to Soccer Central – a family-friendly zone with vendors, food trucks and soccer-themed activities – from Oct. 11-13, 2024. Soccer Central will welcome the following vendors and activities:

  • Barbacoa Boyz – Caribbean food favourites
  • Canada Soccer / merchandise
  • Charmed – Croc charms
  • Greedy Bites – wood-fired pizza
  • Kona Ice of Kingston – shaved ice treats
  • Tai My Sneaks – speciality/collectible sneakers
  • The Binge Box Quinte – food truck favourites
  • The Pink Funnel – funnel cakes
  • Virgin Mango – smoothies and smoothie bowls
  • 15 large outdoor games provided by Hitched Games

Looking for a fun opportunity to test and improve your soccer skills? Join the Quinte West Soccer Club for a skills and drills youth program!

When: Saturday, Oct. 12, at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 
Where: Field 3, Centennial Park

There’s no need to register and there’s no cost to participate! Drop in to one (or both!) of the skills and drills sessions to play, practice and learn.

A free water refill station will be available in Centennial Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle when coming to the tournament.

Washroom facilities will be available throughout Centennial Park. 

Parking will be at a premium during the tournament. Attendees are encouraged to carpool when possible. 

Public parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in parking lots in Centennial Park

In front of the Bob Wannamaker Amphitheatre, there is a designated bus/group drop-off and pick-up area for classes, schools, and other groups attending the tournament.

Limited bleacher seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis beside tournament fields.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Couch Crescent will be closed to through traffic from the Quinte West Soccer Office to the skate park beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 12 p.m. until Monday, Oct. 14, at 4 p.m.

Get involved!

The City of Quinte West invites residents, community groups, schools and local organizations to visit Centennial Park during the tournament to witness exciting gameplay and be part of the action! There is no cost to attend. 

Groups planning to attend are encouraged to complete the online community participation form to stay up to date on tournament news and information and to help event organizers plan for large group attendance.

The City of Quinte West will engage more than 250 local volunteers in the delivery of the Toyota National Championships over the six days of the soccer competition.
