Book ice time through ActiveNet, the City of Quinte West’s online facility booking platform

You can book ice time at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens in Trenton and the Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre in Frankford Tourist Park through the City’s online booking system. It’s easy:

  1. Make an account
  2. Choose from an available time slot or location
  3. Securely pay online to reserve a facility

Once you have selected where you would like to book ice (pad 1 or 2 of the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens or the Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre in Frankford), a calendar of availability will display to continue your booking. Only the available ice times will be displayed in the calendar for you to book. If your desired time does not display, the ice is already booked or in use.

When you successfully book a facility, a confirmation will be sent to you through the email address associated with your account. If you booked a facility through ActiveNet but did not receive a confirmation email, please call 613-392-2841 ext. 4910 or email to confirm your booking.

You can currently reserve the following on the City’s online booking system:

  • Ice rentals at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens and the Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre
  • A seasonal campsite at Frankford Tourist Park. 

All other facility rentals and bookings can be requested through the facility rental request form, or by calling 613-392-2841 ext. 4910 or emailing A facility bookings staff member will be in touch to confirm your request and coordinate payment.

When you are prompted to sign in, check the “Forgot Your Password” box and click “Continue.” You will be asked to provide the email address you used to create your account then verify your identity by providing your first and last name as well as your date of birth. Upon submission, an email will be sent to you containing a temporary password. Upon signing in, you will be asked to change your password.

Navigate to “My Account” in the top right of your screen, then select “View Activity or Rental Schedules” under “Account Activity.” You may then select rentals, activities, etc. under “Available Schedule Details,” clicking the arrows to the right to move them to “Selected Schedule Details.” Once you have made your selections, click “View Schedule.”
