How to use a ChargePoint EV station:

Anyone with a battery electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle can use an EV charger. EV charging stations can’t be used for any purpose other than to charge electric vehicles. Non-electric vehicles parked in EV charging spaces may be ticketed.

The EV charging stations are Level 2 ChargePoint stations that allow two vehicles to charge simultaneously. The City’s public EV charging stations are operated through the ChargePoint network.

These stations can charge a vehicle in 3 to 6 hours, depending on the type of vehicle.

The cost to charge your electric vehicle in any of the EV charging stations through Quinte West is $1.60 per hour.

Drivers can pay via their ChargePoint account on the ChargePoint app.
