Annual statements

These statements tell the story of the financial position at the end of each calendar year. The financial statements are prepared in accordance with the Public Sector Accounting Standards. An independent accounting firm audits them, and we publish the previous year’s statements in May.

Municipal performance

Each year, the City reports year-end financial information and many municipal performance measures in a standardized format called the Financial Information Return (FIR). This information is submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and is accessible to the public.
