Rental request form

Insurance: The event must maintain in full force for the duration of the rental a Commercial General Liability insurance policy in the minimum amount of $2 million or $5 million for each occurrence naming the Corporation of the City of Quinte West as additional insured, and submit to the City proof of insurance at least 5 days prior to the start date of the event.
Indemnification & Limitation of Liability for Damages: Permit holders agree that it is done entirely at his/her own risk exclusively. The Municipality of the Corporation of the City of Quinte West, its management, staff, contractors, heirs and assigns will not accept any responsibility for any loss due to fire, theft, collision, vandalism or damage, however caused. The renter hereby waives all claims against the Municipality for damages to goods, wares, merchandise and property in, upon or about the facility premises. The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Municipality of the Corporation of the City of Quinte West from any damage and/or injury to any person arising from any use of the facility by the renter, however caused. The renter agrees that Municipality of the Corporation of the City of Quinte West is not responsible to the renter, their family, associates or assigns for any death, injuries suffered or loss due to theft, fire or other causes whatsoever.
Events that include programming or activities or that promote views or ideas that encourage discrimination, contempt or hatred for any person on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, color, citizenship, religion, age, sex, marital status, family status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, political affiliation, receipt of public assistance or level literacy, will not be permitted on City property.
The event must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including City bylaws and policies, and to obtain all necessary permits and licenses where required.
