Large + bulky item pick-up

Curbside collection of large and bulky items is available to Quinte West residents by placing the item at the curbside for a fee. Residents must first pay for large and bulky collection at city hall, the Frankford municipal office or online. At the time of purchase, you will be requested to provide your name, address, telephone number, and the item you are placing at the curb for collection. Please note that the large and bulky collection fee is non-refundable. For orders placed before 8 a.m. on Thursday, the item(s) will be picked up on Friday of that same week. For orders placed after 8 a.m. on a Thursday, the item(s) will be scheduled for pick-up the following Friday.

Large and bulky curbside collection is completed weekly on Fridays. Residents must place their bulky items at the curb on Thursday evening after 7 p.m. or before 7 a.m. on Friday.

Where can I purchase large + bulky tags in-person?

You can purchase large and bulky tags in-person during business hours by visiting the revenue services counter at city hall or the customer service counter at the Frankford municipal office. Cash, cheque and debit are accepted.

Alternatively, excess residential non-hazardous waste can be disposed of at the locations listed below:

Unacceptable items

The following items are not accepted as part of the large and bulky item pick-up:

  • Fuel/oil/propane tanks
  • Construction materials
  • Hazardous waste
