Drain Bros. Limited Excavating will begin resurfacing the road on Sidney Street North today, Aug. 17, for approximately four weeks.
The project, which is a joint initiative between the City of Quinte West and the City of Belleville, includes road surface pulverization, culvert replacements, asphalt resurfacing, updated line painting and the addition of paved shoulders for active transportation on Sidney Street North between Millennium Parkway and Vermilyea Road.
Sidney Street remains open though road users can expect delays during construction, which is scheduled to be completed in September.
