Quinte West opens cooling centre

In response to the extreme heat, the cooling station at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena in Trenton is open. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning today through Wed., Aug. 11, 2021. All visitors are required to wear masks and maintain appropriate physical distances while using the cooling station.

Splash pads are also open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily in both Trenton and Frankford.
