Based on advice from Global Affairs Canada, the best way to help is by making donations to experienced humanitarian organizations rather than sending supplies. Monetary contributions can be made through the Canadian Red Cross via the Ukraine humanitarian Crisis Appeal at redcross.ca.
Monetary assistance allows relief agencies to purchase supplies quickly based on the specific needs of the people they’re helping. It is also more cost-effective than shipping these items internationally.
