Exhibit Request Application Form

Submit this request to use the various display areas of City Hall or the Quinte West Public Library.

Application for use of display space in City Hall will be granted at the sole discretion of the City/Public Library.

Applications are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and are limited to four (4) calendar weeks per year for any group or organization.

The City Council/Quinte West Public Library Board shall have the final decision on the content and arrangement of all exhibits. The City/Public Library reserves the right to reject any part of an exhibit or to change the manner of display.

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to set up and remove the exhibit. The mounting of any exhibit must not endanger the health and safety of City Hall/Public Library patrons or staff. Exhibits must be removed when required by the City/Public Library. The City/Public Library will not provide any supplies or staff assistance in the setting up or removal of an exhibit. All exhibits must be set up and removed with as little disruption as possible to the operations of the City/Public Library.

The City/Public Library will not provide storage for the property of organizations or individuals exhibiting in City Hall/the Library.

The City of Quinte West/Quinte West Public Library accepts no responsibility for the protection, preservation, damage or theft of any item displayed or exhibited on its premises. All items displayed are done so at the owner’s risk.

I, the undersigned, accept the terms and conditions of the City of Quinte West/Quinte West Public Library Display Policy, and any restrictions placed, by the City/Public Library, upon my application to exhibit on City Hall premises. I further agree to indemnify and save harmless the Corporation of the City of Quinte West and the Quinte West Public Library Board and all persons for whom they are legally responsible, from any and all liabilities, damages, costs, claims, suits or actions that might arise as a result of mounting any items for display on the City's premises.
