Youth Curling Registration and Information Session

Parents seeking an affordable winter activity for their family should look no further than the Little Rocks and Youth Programs at the Quinte Curling Club (QCC) in Belleville. Kim Wilson, Director of Youth Curling and Certified Curling Coach, leads the Sunday programs with support from QCC volunteers and parents. Her enthusiasm is infectious while she encourages skill-building and fun. Little Rocks is a program for 6 to 11 year-olds, running from 10 to 11:30 Sunday mornings. Sessions last seven weeks, beginning October 15. Cost is only $40 per session plus HST. Youth Curling is a program for 12 to 18 year-olds, running from 11:45 to 1:30 on Sundays. Sessions last seven weeks, beginning October 15. Cost is only $50 per session plus HST. Youth programs aim to teach young curlers the basic skills and etiquette of curling through a combination of drills and games. Helmets are required for athletes under the age of 12 and strongly recommended for all. Kim will be holding an information/registration session on Saturday, September 23 from 11 am – 1 pm at the Curling Club, 246 Bridge St. West.
