Two Minutes to Midnight: a play by Michael Ross Albert
March 23 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
$20MJ Mari and Toby Farrell shine in this brilliant dark comedy, directed by Jocelyn Brant and written by one of Canada’s most promising new playwrights. Tickets are $20 each. Order online through Eventbrite or call (613) 403-7329 to reserve.
Jack and Tracy really need a vacation, but everything at their all-inclusive tropical getaway has been a disappointment. It’s rained the entire trip, their social media influence hasn’t translated to real revenue yet, and an inbound nuclear missile might be about to annihilate them and everyone nearby. With the world and their relationship on the brink of collapse, the bickering couple stares down oblivion together, confronting the illusions that kept them together, and finding hope for their future in the chaos of imminent destruction.
“Michael Ross Albert’s comedy about a couple confronting the end of the world at a tropical resort is funny and deeply moving.”
-NOW Magazine
“Fast-paced, whip smart dialogue and a story that goes like the wind.”
