Have you ever wondered how fabrics and other decorative products are designed? In this intensive weekend workshop you will learn how to convert your artwork into a repeating pattern and design repeat tiles from scratch. Learn the basics from an experienced professional artist and textile designer.
From all-over prints to structured tiles and geometrics, there are some simple rules and tricks that will help you on your journey. We will cover both physical and digital methods and discuss printing methods.
Please bring an ipad or a laptop and some previous artwork. Art supplies and other materials will be provided.
