The Student benefit Auction is a charity auction open to all and offers guests over 100 silent auction items to bid on! There will be something for everyone’s tastes and budget – auction items include many uniquely themed gift baskets, a variety of gift cards, party packages, camping and outdoor fun, and so much more. You have to see it to believe it! As well, treat your taste buds to gourmet hors d’oeurves, a signature drink from The County Cider Company and enjoy dancing and music from DJ Leo! You will not be disappointed! Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win prizes and have their name in the draw for a door prize.
Food for Learning, a program of The Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation, is a community partnership committed to enhancing student learning by supporting local Student Nutrition Programs. Providing nutritious meals and snacks helps to make sure local students have a proper start to their day so that they can be successful learners. It is said that without proper nutrition a student’s concentration and behaviour will impact their learning potential. Food for Learning is open to all students – everyone is welcome to participate. Student Nutrition Programs helps students to be more engaged in their learning, teaches them lifelong healthy eating habits and provides a sense of belonging to their school community. Everybody wins!
