BOQ.BIKE: Canada Day Community Ride

Join us for a Canada Day morning ramble! This 40KM gravel bike route in Quinte West is one of bayofquinte.bike’s staple loops for a reason. The length is approachable (it won’t take all day) and there’s a great balance of flats to climbs for those who want to dip their toes into some elevation gain (guaranteed to make your ice cream cone taste even better!) Want to ride? Here’s how to get started: Riders must RSVP for this event in Ride With GPS and be members of bayofquinte.bike. Visit bayofquinte.bike to get started. All riders must have the route accessible via their smartphone or GPS device during the ride. This is a self-supported ride: riders must bring their own bike, helmet, water, tools, tube, and snacks. Water refills will be available at the start and end point of the loop, so riders should be prepared with everything they’ll need for the duration of the ride in case refuel is unavailable on the route.
– All bikes must be in excellent working condition on arrival and should have gravel or mountain tires, and be equipped with front and rear lights and a bell.
