Belleville Festival of Lights Launch Night Event

This year’s Festival of Lights is set to begin Nov. 17 with a special launch-night event. Join us at 5 p.m. at Jane Forrester Park (30 South John St.) as we officially kick off the holiday season with live music by Shirley Diane, food vendors, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and a spectacular drone light show (weather permitting)! The drone light show will be the first of its kind for Belleville and will feature all kinds of holiday-themed displays.

The Festival of Lights runs from Nov. 17 to Jan. 7 at Jane Forrester Park. This year’s display will feature exciting new installations including a gingerbread man, penguin and an interactive snowman. Attendees are encouraged to take photos with the displays and show their love by using the hashtag #BellevilleFestivalofLights.

In addition to launch night, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make appearances at the display every Friday night from Dec. 1 to 22, collecting letters and Christmas wishes before the big day. For more information on the Festival of Lights, visit: Belleville.ca/FestivalofLights.
