2023 Mohawk Landing

Join us for a re-enactment of the 1784 Landing of the Mohawks along the shores of the Bay of Quinte. This year’s ceremony will take place Sunday, May 21, 2023
The paddle-in and ceremony will begin at the Landing Park (353 Bayshore Road) 10 a.m., followed by a break for community church services. Then there will be a feast at 12:30 p.m. at the Mohawk Community Centre (1807 York Road), followed by ‘Home: Our Journey to a New Beginning’ led by Trish Rae and Karen Lewis. There will be a viewing of Six Strings (https://www.cinemaclock.com/movies/six-strings-2022) following the talk.
