Quinte West is hopping with excitement for the return of Hops on the Water

Tickets are on sale now for the highly anticipated return of Quinte West’s annual Hops on the Water festival, Saturday, Oct. 1, in the Front Street Farmers’ Market parking lot at 67 Front Street from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Don’t miss your chance to attend one of the city’s most sought-after all-ages events.

This one-day, family-friendly festival will include a great selection of beverages from Bay of Quinte area breweries, food trucks and savoury snack vendors, live music and entertainment, Instagramable waterfront moments, and flavours of the fall harvest season.

“We are excited to showcase a great lineup of breweries, food establishments, and entertainment that will bring friends together along the city’s waterfront and the downtown core,” says Colleen Vickers, Special Events Coordinator at the City of Quinte West.

Advanced tickets are on sale online now for $20 each, $15 for military members, and offer festival-goers the best value for money, including a collectable Hops on the Water beverage glass (for the first 2000 attendees) and two food and beverage tasting tokens, redeemable for samples at the event. Same-day tickets without tasting tokens will be available at the festival entrance for $25. Festival attendees 18 years old and younger are free.

Quinte West’s 2022 Hops on the Water festival is a cashless event. Purchases of same-day event tickets, tasting tokens, food, beverages and merchandise can be made using all major debit or credit cards. Free public wi-fi is available at the event and every day in the Front Street Farmers’ Market parking lot.

Arrive at Hops on the Water in ease by leaving your vehicle at Quinte West City Hall or the Duncan McDonald Arena and taking the free festival shuttle to and from the event. Fully accessible parking shuttles will run to and from Quinte West City Hall and the Duncan McDonald Arena every 15 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Front Street Farmers’ Market parking lot Chamber of Commerce’s north parking lot will both be closed to public parking between Friday, Sept. 30, at 6:00 a.m. and will reopen on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022.

On Saturday, Oct. 1, the Quinte West Front Street Farmers’ Market will relocate to a portion of the City Hall parking lot from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to accommodate Hops on the Water.
