Job seekers are encouraged to attend the Work in Quinte Career Fair on April 24

The cities of Quinte West and Belleville welcome job seekers and employers to the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre for the Work in Quinte Career Fair on Wednesday, April 24, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Work in Quinte Career Fair hosts nearly 60 employers from across the region to showcase employment opportunities, promote their organizations, and meet qualified candidates. Some of the employers that are attending this year’s career fair include All Season Fencing, Quinte Custom Foods, Hanon Systems, and Redpath Sugar. Interested employers are encouraged to connect with their local municipality to learn about future career fairs, as registration for this career fair is at capacity and is now closed. 

The career fair gives job seekers looking for a new position or a change in their career an opportunity to explore vacant positions and network with recruiters from across the Bay of Quinte region. Job seekers are encouraged to come interview ready with resumes in hand to speak directly with local businesses that are actively seeking employees to fill over 400 vacant positions. 

“Attending the Career Fair is the perfect first step for those interested in looking for a change or to kickstart their career,” says Elizabeth Edwards, Economic Development Officer for the City of Quinte West. “The opportunity to meet with the employers and speak to the hiring team directly is advantageous for those interested in a new career path.”
