Emergency training exercise in Quinte West this Wednesday, Oct. 25

The City of Quinte West, in partnership with Quinte Health, Loyalist College, and County Farm Centre Ltd. will be conducting a mock community emergency preparedness exercise on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023.

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023

Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. 

Location: County Farm Centre Ltd., 222 Hamilton Rd.

During the exercise, there may be an increase in City and emergency vehicles, personnel, and road closures in the area of 222 Hamilton Road, Belleville. These activities are planned as part of the exercise. The community is asked to avoid the area on October 25. 

This mock exercise is part of the City’s annual emergency preparedness program that maintains ongoing efforts to enhance the City and community’s readiness and response to potential emergencies. Participants from each organization will engage in a mock ‘real life’ scenario to gain experience preparing for and responding to emergency situations.
