County Road 40 from Highway 2 to Loyalist Parkway (County Road 33) will be closed from Aug. 6 to 9 for a scheduled culvert replacement. Through traffic on County Road 40 in the closure area will not be permitted.

During the closure period, southbound traffic will be detoured using the following route: east on Highway 2, south on Dufferin Avenue, and west on Loyalist Parkway.
Northbound traffic will be detoured using the following route: east on Loyalist Parkway, north on Dufferin Avenue, and west on Highway 2.
Access to homes and businesses on County Road 40 will be maintained, however intermittent delays can be expected. Local traffic may be rerouted via the detour route.
