On Monday, Aug. 12, the City of Quinte West announced the appointment of Josh Machesney as the new Director of Corporate Services/City Clerk.
Machesney has worked for the City of Quinte West since November 2022 when he was hired as Manager of Legislative Services/City Clerk. Before joining Quinte West, Josh spent 3.5 years at the Township of Uxbridge as Deputy Clerk. Josh holds a Master of Public Administration from Western University.
“I’m looking forward to starting the role of Director with the City of Quinte West and working with our Legislative Services and IT teams to find new synergies that will help drive digital progress in support of Council’s initiatives. I look forward to continuing to deliver excellence in the areas of cyber security, municipal elections and our business functions as a whole,” said Josh Machesney.
Machesney will assume the Director position on Aug. 18.
