Civil ceremony request form

Please bring your marriage licence to your pre-ceremony in-person consultation

A City staff member will contact you with information on how and when to apply for your marriage licence.

Ceremonies are available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., subject to staff and room availability. The proposed date will not be confirmed until payment has been received and the civil ceremony booking agreement has been signed.

Witnesses must be over the age of 16. Names of both witnesses will be required when completing the booking agreement at the pre-ceremony consultation.

The City can provide witnesses for $25 per witness.

PLEASE NOTE: The fee for a civil marriage ceremony is $450, payable by cash or debit at the time of your pre-ceremony consultation.
