Tuesday Workshops with Rachel Harbour
January 31 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
$30Come learn new techniques with Rachel Harbour!
“Watercolour paintings are often constructed around the technique of preserving or blocking out sections of the surface of the paper to represent areas of white, allowing the translucency of the paint colours to shine. This means that, if you purchase a set of watercolour paints, the white that comes included languishes at the bottom of your tool box. Let’s get that white paint working as we make black watercolour paper the star of this painting using the same technique of preserving the paper, but reversing the effect to create our chilly night time scene.”
Painting: “Winter’s Night” watercolour, 9″ x 12″
Workshop is $30 in advance to register and secure your space.
