Welcome to the National Air Force Museum of Canada’s Top Gun Academy!

Do you have the need… the need for speed? Our one-day training program will determine if you have what it takes to become the next great RCAF pilot.

Recruits can report to the NAFMC Top Gun Academy on one day, and one day only: Monday 20 February 2023 (Family Day). Training will take place throughout the day, beginning at 1000hrs and will go until 1500hrs. There is no set time for arrival, and recruits can spend as much or as little time needed to complete all training sessions.

This Family Day (Monday February 20th), join us at the NAFMC for our Top Gun Academy Program. Suitable for all ages, children will explore what it takes to be a pilot by taking part in activities that are inspired by Canadian Military Aerobatic Teams. Activities include:

– The Snowbird Academy
– Red Knight Training Centre
– Sky Hawks Drop Zone
– Formation Flying Obstacle Course
– F-18 Paint Shop
– Scavenger Hunt

Activities are available from 10:00am to 3:00pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission rates are pay what you can / by donation.

Family Day Museum Hours: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Family Day Programming Hours: 10:00am – 3:00pm
