My Story, My Tattoo
March 15 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
included-with-regular-admission-to-the-museumVisiting from Wellington County Museum and Archives (Fergus, ON), this exhibit features a series of contemporary photographs showing people and their amazing tattoos.
Tattoos are living images, revealing important stories about people, communities and the tattoo phenomenon. The subjects in these photos represent many walks of life – everyone from a cancer survivor to teachers and their students, a firefighter and a farmer. With openness and honesty, their stories and personalities are shared in a series of thought-provoking and colourful images. Chris Piccinetti, a Guelph-based photographer and graphic designer for the County of Wellington, photographed these inspiring images.
