MY SONG, a choral tribute to our heritage
May 13, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
$20Belleville Choral Society’s next concert will be on May 13, 2023 at 2 pm with the doors at 1:30, St Matthew’s United Church 25 Holloway St. Entitled “MY SONG,” the performance is a choral tribute to our heritage – celebrating loves lost, loves found and unknown strengths. Admission is by donation with $20 per person most appreciated. Directed by Heather Christiansen and accompanied by Tom Dietzel, the choir will perform music from across the decades including the world premiere of a Jeanette Arsenault choral arrangement. The Best of Broadway Trio (Kim Dafoe, Anita Halfpenny, Susan McCourt) will add their special touch to this Mother’s Day Weekend performance.
Thanks to the City of Belleville for the 2022 Arts Grant that allowed the choir to purchase new music for this performance, and to St. Matthew’s for sponsoring the venue. Masks are optional.
