Due to forecast weather conditions, the City of Quinte West will open the overnight warming centre on the evenings of Jan. 5, 6 and 7, 2022 at the Trenton United Church, located at 85 Dundas St. E, Trenton. Visitors must register upon entry and will be screened using the latest COVID-19 screening tool. Face masks and physical distancing are required at all times.
When: Jan. 5, 6 and 7 from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Where: Trenton United Church, 85 Dundas St. E; entry through the lower south entrance of the building, off the parking lot
The warming centre is activated when the temperature is expected to reach -10 C. Please note that this is a warming centre for individuals to seek relief from the cold. Beds and meals are not provided.
