Quinte West is seeking community feedback on its City-owned assets

Help plan for the future of Quinte West’s roads, buildings, parks and more. Residents are invited to provide feedback about the quality, condition and maintenance of a wide range of City-owned assets on the City’s online engagement page and through the ‘Strong City, Strong Assets’ asset management survey. The survey closes March 31, 2025.

The City is looking to gather information about how taxpayers want the City to maintain, repair and replace its public infrastructure, including roads, bridges, facilities, outdoor recreation spaces, vehicles, storm water and water and wastewater systems.

“We’re inviting residents to tell us how they want the City to balance costs with quality when it comes to maintaining everything the City owns, from our roads to heavy equipment, arenas and facilities, parks and playgrounds and water and wastewater systems,” says Riley Wolters, Manager of Data and Asset Management with the City of Quinte West. “Understanding the community’s priorities is important to ensuring the City’s asset management plan meets the needs of Quinte West residents and the community.”

Feedback received about the City’s assets will help guide priorities for and the direction of future asset management planning by the City of Quinte West.

The City will bring forward updates to its Asset Management Plan as a requirement of the provincial regulation O. Reg. 588/17 Asset Management Planning for Municipal Infrastructure ahead of the required July 1, 2025 deadline.
