  • 9:33 – Mayor Harrison recognized Ryan Laliberte, President of Trident Group, and John and Angela Smylie of Smylie’s Your Independent Grocer for their outstanding generosity in support of the Doug Whitney Fantasy of Lights display 
  • 10:48 – Mayor and Council heard a presentation from Laurie Caouette, Grant Research Analyst/Community Engagement and Christanne Lewis and Terry Swift, Co-Chairs, Mental Health and Addictions Action Table on mental health and addictions and affordable and appropriate housing strategies as part of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan

  • 30:51 – Council received a report with information on the 2022 municipal election
  • 32: 27 – Council received a report on the Quinte Conservation and Lower Trent Conservation Authority Transition Plans 
  • 42:24 – Council approved the minutes of the planning advisory committee meeting held Dec. 16, 2021
  • 42:41 – Council approved the mental health and addictions and affordable and appropriate housing strategies to be included in the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan 
  • 43:02 – Council passed a bylaw authorizing an agreement with the Canadian Urban Institute for the My Main Street Community Activator Program 
  • 43:28 – Council supported Lower Trent Conservation Authority’s proposal to revitalize the southern section of the Trenton Greenbelt Conservation Area
  • 45:05 – Council approved the minutes of the public works and environmental services committee meeting held Dec. 14, 2021

  • 45:45 – Council approved the request to proclaim January as Alzheimer’s Awareness Month in the City of Quinte West
  • 46:13 – Council approved the request to proclaim March 7-13 as the annual Violence Awareness and Random Acts of Kindness Week in the City of Quinte West
