Presentations and Delegations

  • City staff and Quinte West O.P.P. will present the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan
  • A delegation regarding updates on the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward Animal Care and Adoption Centre

Committee Reports, Staff Reports and Approval of Accounts

  • Council will review the proposed Indigenous land acknowledgement statement.
  • Council will review a grant opportunity through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund for the Centennial Park boat launch.
  • Staff will review the proposed Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.
  • Council will review a request that includes;
    – The flying of an Indigenous culture/support flag depicting the Medicine Wheel year-round;
    – The flying of an orange flag on Sept. 30 of every year in support of the Every Child Matters movement;
    – The flying of a No More Stolen Sisters flag on May 5 of every year in support of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement.
  • Council will review proposed options for the regional gypsy moth infestation.
  • Council will review bylaws including the rezoning of lands, Official Plan amendments, road systems, below ground services in Murray township and the Planning Act.

Council will be asked to receive printed and non-printed correspondence
