  • Mayor Harrison and members of Council will recognize Chief Doug Socha, Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services
  • Mr. Mark Cullen, chair of the Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign, and Mr. Mike Hurley, executive director of Trees For Life, will provide an update regarding Trees for Life

Committee reports, staff reports and approval of accounts

  • Council will review a staff report regarding a road widening agreement
  • Council will review a staff report regarding military training exercises on the Millennium Trail
  • Council will review a staff report regarding city paid parking
  • Council will review the minutes of the planning advisory committee meeting held on June 16, 2022
  • Council will review the minutes of the economic development and tourism advisory committee meeting held on June 22, 2022
  • Council will review the minutes of the special fire and emergency services committee meeting held on July 8, 2022

Proclamations

  • Council will review a request from Ms. Christanne Lewis, director of programs and services for the Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre to proclaim August 31, 2022, as International Overdose Awareness Day
  • Council will review a request from Mr. Stephen Covey, chief of police and chief security officer of CN to proclaim September 19-25, 2022, as Rail Safety Week

Council will be asked to receive printed and non-printed correspondence.
