Quinte Criterium comes to Quinte West on May 29

The City of Quinte West will welcome more than 150 cyclists to Centennial Park on May 29 for the Quinte Criterium. Competitors will participate in a 1.7 km closed-circuit cycling event as part of a provincial cycling race series. The first race begins at 9 a.m. and the final heat will depart at approximately 2:30 p.m.

To accommodate the race, road closures for vehicular traffic will be in effect:

When: Sunday, May 29 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Where: Couch Crescent and Bay Street between South Street and Flindall Street

During the closure, driveways within the closure area will be inaccessible and detour routes will be in effect. Centennial Park will remain accessible to pedestrians during the closure. The event is not open for public participation, but spectators are welcome.
