Pregnancy and Family Care Quinte West (PFCQW) is thrilled to announce the official opening of their new space in Trenton.
“Over the past few years, we’ve seen the challenges faced by young families and expecting parents in the region intensify,” said Executive Director, Jessie Kuipers. “We realized the necessity for a larger space to better meet the demands of those we serve and as a result of the generosity of the community, one million dollars was raised to make the new location a reality. PFCQW’s new centre is a testament to this region. We saw a need and we came together to help others.”
PFCQW is committed to supporting families and individuals through a variety of free services designed to alleviate the burdens of parenting and pregnancy. Their offerings include essential items such as children’s clothing, maternity wear, formula, diapers, and other baby supplies. Beyond material support, they provide Peer Advocate Counselling, Options Counselling for Unexpected Pregnancies, and referrals for professional counselling and OBGYN services. They also offer in-house and online classes as well as services connecting their clients with other community supports.
