Many community events and activities this weekend in Centennial Park

Prepare for a busy weekend of summer fun in Centennial Park! The park will welcome many residents and visitors this weekend for the following events and activities: 

  • QWABA PeeWee House League Tournament: Aug. 6 to 11 at the Don Ogden Field (Centennial Park) and Bain Park
  • Quinte West Pop-ups: Aug. 8 to Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Thursday to Sunday weekly until Sept. 2), located east of the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens
  • Cameron Memorial Soccer Tournament: Aug. 9 to 11 on the Centennial Park soccer fields 
  • Quinte West Presents…The Great Summer Carnival: Aug. 10 from 3 – 8 p.m. at the Bob Wannamaker Amphitheatre

Parking in and around Centennial Park will be at a premium this weekend. 

On Saturday, Aug. 10, additional parking will be available at Quinte West City Hall, 7 Creswell Dr., Trenton. A free parking shuttle will be provided from City Hall to the Bob Wannamaker Amphitheatre in Centennial Park from 3 – 8 p.m.

Couch Crescent inside the park will be closed to through traffic between Bay Street and the Trenton Skatepark on Saturday, Aug. 10, and Sunday, Aug. 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Cameron Memorial tournament.
