Leadercast returns to Quinte West this year in a new, accessible format. In keeping with the theme for this year’s event, Leadercast has ‘shifted’ from its regular one-day in-person event to a virtual month-long leadership conference. Beginning Sept. 13, 2021, a series of three pre-recorded speakers will be available to view each week for four weeks, speaking on how they have successfully shifted in their careers.
“Offering Leadercast online allows more people to access the incredible speakers we have available,” says Linda Lisle, manager of economic development and tourism services. “Leadercast has quickly become a signature event in Quinte West because of the way it encourages the leaders in our community to become stronger and more resilient. We are thrilled to be able to host a Leadercast event in a virtual format in Quinte West this year.”
Leadercast provides meaningful and valuable leadership content that propels leaders worldwide through its simulcast event. For the third year, Quinte West will offer the Leadercast broadcast to local leaders in the Quinte region and catchment area. The speakers for Leadercast 2021 — Shift include: Rainn Wilson (The Office), Guy Raz (How I Built This), Cris Carter (NFL Hall of Famer), David Baker (Pro Football Hall of Fame CEO), authors Austin Channing Brown, Todd Henry, Liz Bohannon, Michael C. Bush, Andy Stanley, Sunny Parr (The Kroger Foundation), Deni Tato (Corporate Consciousness) and Chuck Mingo (Undivided).
“This year’s Leadercast theme couldn’t be more fitting,” says Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison. “Much like this year’s list of speakers, we have all had to shift from our usual ways of working, living and socializing. We hope that you will learn from each speaker this year and continue rising to the challenge of being a leader in 2021 and beyond.”
