Music lovers can get amped up for a Big Summer Concert in Quinte West. On Saturday, July 2, 2022, the City of Quinte West and Empire Theatre will welcome Toronto-based band, Dwayne Gretzky at the Bob Wannamaker Amphitheatre in Centennial Park.
Start the summer off right as you listen to live renditions of the greatest songs of all time. The energetic, 10+ piece band takes listeners on a nostalgic journey with their passionate renditions of classic rock and pop songs from artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Cranberries, Fatboy Slim and many more.
“We’re extremely excited to bring the Big Summer Concert to Quinte West with the music of Dwayne Gretzky at our incredible waterfront venue,” says Karen Parker, special events coordinator with the City of Quinte West. “It’s the first licensed outdoor concert the city has hosted in several years and a great chance to enjoy live music from the 80s, 90s and today.”
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 27. VIP tickets are $45 and include assigned seating in premium locations. General admission tickets for the lawn are $30. Attendees may bring their own blankets, no outside chairs will be allowed.
