Emergency road closure at Carrying Place swing bridge

The Carrying Place swing bridge will be closed until further notice due to a motor vehicle collision.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, three vehicles were involved in a collision on the Carrying Place swing bridge. As a result, the bridge will remain closed until a proper inspection can be completed.

Drivers who regularly travel County Road 33 will need to plan an alternate route.
