Presentations and Delegations

9:35 – Library CEO Suzanne Humphreys gave a presentation promoting the collections, resources and services that the Quinte West Public Library offers the community.
27:43 – A delegation from Trenton United Church proposed opening a warming centre during the winter months of 2021-2022.
1:08:23 – A delegation from a Quinte West resident opposed mandatory vaccination of Quinte West staff.

Public input

1:13:09 – Acting Clerk Virginia Latour read aloud the 20 pieces of public input.

Committee Reports, Staff Reports and Approval of Accounts

1:35:40 – Council asked for a staff report with more information on a proposed agreement with Enbridge Gas Inc.
1:44:45 – Council approved the minutes of the Public Works Committee meeting held Sept. 14, 2021, save and except Staff Report 21-047PWES Parking when prohibited extension on Henry Street.
1:50:42 – Council accepted the recommendation to awards tender PW 21-26 Waterfront Trail Extension – Robert Patrick Marina to Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. They stipulated that the $450,000 should come from Capital Reserves, not the surplus in the 2021 budget for roads and other asphalt paving projects.
