The City of Quinte West is now accepting applications to fill one (1) vacancy on the Accessibility Advisory Committee. The purpose of this Committee is to act as a link between Council and the citizens of Quinte West in promoting, developing and facilitating a barrier-free community with a goal to improve the quality of life for those with disabilities. The successful applicant’s term will begin on Dec. 6, 2021 with the term ending Nov. 14, 2022. All applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, 2021.
The vacancy must be filled by a person with a disability as Section 29(3) of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act provides that a majority of the members of the Committee shall be persons with disabilities.
