St. Patrick's Day this year is Sunday, March 17, 2024. To mark the occasion, the City of Quinte West invites residents and visitors to join the St. Patrick's Day community scavenger hunt!

St. Patrick's Day Community Scavenger Hunt

Looking for free, family fun this March Break? Get outside and explore Quinte West's many parks and conservations by joining the St. Patrick's Day community scavenger hunt.

Take your friends and family members on a scavenger hunt across Quinte West between Friday, March 8 and Monday, March 18 to find and snap photos of St. Patrick's themed signs hidden throughout town.

One of the six magical images below can be found in each of the parks and conservation areas listed below between Friday, March 8 and Monday, March 18.

Upload each of your photos on this webpage before 4 p.m., Monday, March 18 to enter into a draw for the chance to win an assortment of local prizes.

Scavenger hunt prize winners will be announced on the City of Quinte West's Instagram page on Thursday, March 21.

Photo contest rules:

  • All contest photos must be uploaded to this website no later than 4 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2024.
  • Limit of one photo submission per person, per sign.
  • Only photos that include one of the St. Patrick's Day signs will be accepted. All other photos will be disqualified.
  • All photo submission(s) must be accompanied by a completed online photograph waiver form.
  • Photo submission(s) that are not accompanied by a completed online photograph waiver form will be disqualified.
  • Photo contest participants must be a resident of Quinte West.
  • Photo contest participants may enter a maximum of six (6) photographs; a maximum of one of each of the St. Patrick's Day signs.
  • For every one approved photo uploaded to this website, the photo contest participant will receive one automatic entry into the contest draw.
  • Photo contest winners will be randomly drawn by City staff and announced on the City of Quinte West's Instagram page on Thursday, March 21.
  • Each contest winner will receive one prize.
  • Photo contest winners will be contacted by email, and may be required to sign acknowledgement of receipt and acceptance of these rules.
  • Submitted photos must not be currently held in copyright by any individual or organization and must be previously unpublished work.
  • By entering the contest, each participant acknowledges having read these rules and regulations and agrees to be bound by them and all decisions of the contest organizers, which shall be final.
